Belgium is one of the earliest countries to introduce a Pillar Two notification requirement—a new milestone in global implementation of the OECD’s initiative.

Corporate groups with a Belgian presence must act quickly to file a detailed form that includes information relating to the group, consolidated financial statements, and the Pillar Two status of certain group entities. Immediate action is required—the information to be provided is substantial, part of the information may require a more in-depth Pillar Two scoping analysis, and the administrative process may be time-consuming.
