There are major holes in the EU’s energy security policy, the bloc’s budget watchdog said on Monday, with no way of assessing the impact of several emergency measures introduced in the wake of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
There remain serious obstacles to the EU’s attempts to fully wean itself off Russian gas supplies and become self-sufficient, the Luxembourg-based European Court of Auditors (ECA) said.
