One of Luxembourg’s leading teaching unions, the SEW arm of the OGBL, has warned that the education system is under strain and criticised Luc Frieden’s State of the Nation speech on Tuesday for hardly mentioning schools.
Prime Minister Frieden in a wide-ranging policy speech to parliament outlined a 10-point plan to tackle to housing crisis, tax relief measures and changes to climate subsidies. But education received scant mention in the address.
