The grand duchy ranked 7th out of 96 financial centres in the Global Green Finance Index on 23 April 2024. Luxembourg was 5th in the two previous editions, released in October 2023 and April 2023.
Five western European financial centres featured in the latest global top 10, with 3 other positions taken by US cities. Singapore rounded out the top 10. London topped the table, followed by Geneva and Zurich. Luxembourg had the highest score among EU countries.
