Founded in 2007, the global Girls in Tech non-profit organisation closed its doors on 8 July 2024 due to a lack of funding. Individual chapters, however, still exist and are working on re-branding. Case in point: the Luxembourg chapter announced this week that it was becoming WeStem+ in order to expand their commitment to empowering underrepresented groups in the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (Stem).
