Flavio Becca, was convicted on charges of money laundering and misuse of company assets in 2021, on Tuesday said he would not accept a decision by the Court of Cassation and intends to take legal action against the Luxembourg state.
Becca was fined €250,000 in 2021 and given a two-year suspended sentence over the purchase of 842 luxury watches. He lost an appeal in 2022 although the suspended sentence was reduced to one year. Last December, the Court of Cassation in Luxembourg rejected Becca’s appeal to have the judgement overturned on legal grounds.
