The Ministry of Health and Social Security announced Monday that it is strengthening prevention measures against two of the most common types of cancer in Luxembourg.
Screening for breast cancer and colon cancer will now be routinely accessible from the age of 45, with authorities hoping more cancers will be discovered earlier – thereby limiting the risk of death and complications. At the same time, the upper age for routine breast cancer screening is being extended to 74.
